Phyllis Dorothy Petrick, 93, died Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Golden Living Center – Meadow Lane in Benson, Minnesota.  
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holloway with Rev. Don Klatt officiating.  Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson with a prayer service at 7 p.m.  Visitation continued for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial was in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.   
Phyllis Dorothy Petrick was born June 2, 1921, in Milbank, South Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Amelia (Adler) Schmidt.  She graduated from Appleton High School.  
May 12, 1946, Phyllis was united in marriage to Merlyn August Petrick in Holloway, Minnesota.  This union was blessed with more than 62 years of marriage, three children, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.  Over the years, she lived in Holloway, rural Holloway, rural Danvers, and Benson.  
Phyllis was called from this life  Friday, October 17, 2014.  She attained the age of 93 years, four months and 15 days.  
Phyllis is survived by her children: Linda (special friend, Charles Weinhold) Petrick of Minneapolis, Randy (Deborah) Petrick of Clear Lake, SD, and Dennis (special friend, Nancy Arne) Petrick of Danvers; grandchildren: Jamie Petrick, Ross Petrick, Paul Petrick and Erin Honebrink; great-grandchildren: Cole Petrick, Caden Petrick, Easton Petrick, Grayson Petrick, Lucy Petrick, Adlai Honebrink, and Emma Petrick; and many other relatives and friends.  
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Amelia Schmidt; husband Merlyn in 2009, and siblings: Myra, Iva, Alvin and Orville.
Arrangements were with the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson, MN.
