Jay B. Rist, age 49, of Waite Park, formerly of Benson

Jay B. Rist, age 49, of Waite Park, MN, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 16th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Saint Cloud.  Visitation will be an hour prior to the service.  Pastor Dee Pederson will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date.
Jay was born May 19, 1965 in Benson, Minnesota to Ted and Eloise Rist.  He graduated from Benson High School.  He earned a certificate in automotive mechanics from St. Cloud Vo-Tech and worked in the automotive industry for several years with the majority of his career at Foreign Auto Service.
Jay enjoyed spending time with his family, watching NASCAR and sports, caring for pets, working on his bikes and casual walks around the pond with his music.  He was a kind, quiet person with a generous heart and a hug for everyone.
Jay is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Quintin) Brown of Fairbanks, AL; grandchildren, Krystalynn, Katelynn, Jeremiah, and Korbin; mother, Eloise Rist of Waite Park, MN; father, Ted (Elaine) Rist of Billings, MT; brothers, Todd Rist of Prior Lake, MN and Jon (Lisa) Rist of St. Cloud, MN;  nieces, Abigail, Madison and Zoe; nephews, Brett, Dain, Nicholas, Tanner and Vail; great nephew Mason; great nieces, Vayda and Evelyn.
