Helen Riley, 79, of Murdock

Helen Riley, 79, of Murdock and owner of Riley Bus Service died on Saturday, November 8th at her home in Murdock.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, November 13th, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Murdock with Fr. Jeremy Kucera officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, 5 to 7 PM, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the parish prayer service at 5:45 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to Mass on Thursday morning.  Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson is handling the arrangements.  www.zniewskifuneralhome.com
Helen Anne Riley was born September 6, 1935, at Frederic, Wisconsin to parents Clarence and Hazel (Rundblade) Krattenmaker.  She grew up in Murdock and graduated from Murdock High School.  After high school Helen attended the Minnesota School of Business for two years.
On September 7, 1957, she was united in marriage to Glenn Jerome Riley at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Fr. Smith.  Helen was owner, secretary and tour guide for Riley Bus Service for many years.
Helen was active in her church by serving on the Altar and Rosary Society and was Catechism teacher for 15 years.  She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  Helen enjoyed dancing, reading, traveling, and going on casino tours.
Helen died in her home at Murdock on Saturday morning, November 8, 2014.  She had attained 79 years, 2 months and 2 days of age.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn; four children: Kari (Michael) Smith of Blaine, Kathy (Scott) Lepak of Andover, Kevin (DeAnna) Riley of Murdock, and Kristi Riley and her husband Chris Fairchild of Andover; six grandchildren: Emily Smith, Jordan (Alex) Riley, Kate Bauer and her husband Randy Muehlbauer, Kelsey Riley, Brianne (Austin) Plowman, and Chloe Fairchild; three great-grandchildren: Talen Riley, William Riley and Noah Plowman; her sister, Maxine Helgeson of Coon Rapids; brother-in-law, James Riley of Hutchinson; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Hazel Krattenmaker, and her sister-in-law Patricia Riley.
