Beverly Home, 71 of Montevideo, died at her home on Tuesday, June 10th.  Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the church with Wing-Bain Funeral Home (www.wingbain.com) in charge of arrangements.
Beverly Ann (Mitling) Home was born May 20, 1943 in Montevideo, Minnesota to Bennie and Nettie (Christenson) Mitling.  She was baptized on June 16, 1943 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, confirmed on November 11, 1956 at Jevnaker Lutheran Church and attended public schools in Montevideo.
Beverly worked as a cook for many years at the Hotel Hunt and Mohawk Café in Montevideo.  She married Theodore Home on July 26, 1969 in Montevideo and went to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Clarkfield Care Center, Luther Haven, Clara City Care Center and Homefront Assisted Living.  She enjoyed taking care of her home, yard and flowers, raised a garden and cooking and baking up a storm.  Her best times were spending time with her granddaughters, and always enjoying company including the patio parties she hosted for friends and family.  She was a true caregiver and a very loving grandmother.
Beverly passed away at her home on June 10, 2014 at the age of 71 years.
She is survived by her two daughters: Shelly (Jeff) Maynus of Maple Grove and Brenda (Wade) Christianson and family of Dawson; granddaughters Ashley and Kayla Maynus of Maple Grove; six sisters: Adeline Nielsen of Holloway, Natsy Roudebush of Savage, Irene Beadle of Richfield, Carol Buschmann and Clarice Smolley of Montevideo and Janis (Philip) Manska of Benson; and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Home in 1974, daughter Vicky Lynn in 1969, her parents, Bennie and Nettie Mitling, brothers Johnnie and Howard Mitling, sister Bernice Larson, niece Sandra Beadle, nephews Bruce, Vernon Lee and Gary Larson, brothers-in-law Max Buschmann, Donald Smolley and Robert Beadle, Eskild Nielsen, Vernon Larson, Eddie Roudebush, sister-in-law Marlys Mitling and her father and mother-in-law, Harvey and Anna Home.
