Frances Stottler, 99, of Benson, died Saturday morning, July 05, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Benson.  Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, in Benson.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church.   Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson is in charge of the arrangements. www.zniewskifuneralhome.com
 
Frances M. “Frankie” (Marquardt) Stottler was born April 4, 1915, in Kerkhoven, Minnesota, to Emil and Minnie Mae (Baker) Marquardt.  She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at Kerkhoven Lutheran Church.  She grew up and attended school in Kerkhoven.  On August 28, 1936, Frankie was united in marriage to Roy Stottler in Raymond, Minnesota.  They moved to a farm south of DeGraff in 1939 and lived there until Roy’s death in 1970.  Frankie then moved to Benson and worked at the Northside Elementary School cafeteria, the Benson Golf Club, and the Sorenson Catering Service until her retirement in 1984.  She was an active member of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post # 1403, the Swift County Historical Society, Merry Makers Home Makers Club, and visited residents in the nursing home and shut-ins.  Frankie was chosen as “Outstanding Senior Citizen of Swift County” in 1997.  She loved visiting with people, gardening, and flowers.
 
Frankie passed away on Saturday morning, July 5, 2014, at the Golden Living Center-Meadow Lane in Benson, Minnesota.  She had attained 99 years, 3 months, and 1 day of age.
 
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ardis Marquardt; step-sisters, Delphine (Roger) Larson and Lolly (Don) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; step-mother; sisters; brothers; and two step-sisters.
