NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
There will be a meeting of the Swift County Planning Commission on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room of the Swift County Courthouse, 301 14th St. No., Benson, MN to consider the following:
IN THE MATTER OF:  Southern MN Beet Sugar Cooperative, 83550 Cty. Rd. 21, Renville, MN  56284 (Purchaser) & Walking C Farms, LLC, c/o Nancy Johnson, 24889 Rolling Acres Dr., Glenwood, MN 56334 (Seller)
    REQUEST:  Conditional Use Permit for the construction of a sugar beet receiving and storage site.
LOCATION: That part of the NE ¼ & also part of the NE ¼ of the NW ¼ , all in Section 26, T-122 N, R-40 W of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Clontarf Township, Swift County, MN, described as follows:  Commencing at the NE corner of said Section 26; thence on a geodetic bearing of S 89 deg., 25 min., 46 sec. W, along the N line of said Section 26, a distance of 2,298.06 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence on a bearing of S 33 deg., 15 min., 45 sec. E a distance of 2,975.66 feet to the W line of the E ½ of the E ½ of the NE ¼ of said Section 26; thence on a bearing of S 00 deg., 05 min., 11 sec. W, along the W line of the E ½ of the E ½ of the NE ¼ of said Section 26, a distance 137.37 feet to the S line of the NE ¼ of said Section 26; thence on a bearing of S 89 deg., 33 min., 22 sec. W, along the S line of the NE ¼ of said Section 26, a distance of 701.44 feet to the NE’ly railroad R-O-W boundary; thence on a bearing of N 33 deg., 15 min., 45 sec. W, along the NE’ly railroad R-O-W  boundary, a distance of 2,334.89 feet to the W line of the NE ¼ of said Section 26; thence on a bearing of N 00 deg., 01 min., 02 sec. W, along the W line of the NE ¼ of said Section 26, a distance of 226.19 feet to the NE’ly highway R-O-W boundary; thence on a bearing of N 33 deg., 15 min., 45 sec. W, along the NE’ly highway R-O-W boundary, a distance of 533.38 feet to the N line of said Section 26; thence on a bearing of N 89 deg., 25 min., 32 sec., E, along the N line of said Section 26, a distance of 292.42 feet to the NE corner of the NW ¼ of said Section 26; thence on a bearing of N 89 deg., 25 min., 46 sec. E, along the N line of Section 26, a distance of 350.40 feet to the point of beginning.
