NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
There will be a meeting of the Swift County Planning Commission on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room of the Swift County Courthouse, 301 14th St. No., Benson, MN to consider the following:
IN THE MATTER OF:  Earl B. Olson Farms, Inc., To: Jennie-O Turkey Store, Inc., Olson West, P.O. Box 778, Willmar, MN  56201 (Owner)
REQUEST:  Conditional Use Permit for the following:  This existing site is permitted for five total confinement barns housing 54,800 turkeys (986 A.U.’s).  We are proposing to house 54,806 turkeys (987 A.U.’s) in four barns.  One 60’x 696’ barn will be rebuilt to replace the barn that was a total loss in the storm.  Two existing barns will require minor repair 76’x 416’, 56’x 360’ and one 64’x 640’ that will need extensive roof repair.  
LOCATION: The SW ¼ of the NW ¼ & the NW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 04, T-122, R-38 (Camp Lake Township) in Swift County, MN and the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ except the S 132 ft. and the NW ¼ of the NE ¼ and the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 05, T-122, R-38 (Camp Lake Township) in Swift County, MN.
