NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT:
There will be a meeting of the Swift County Board of Adjustment on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room of the Swift County Courthouse, 301 14th St. No., Benson, MN to consider the following:
IN THE MATTER OF:  Gerald Tofte, 1160 140th Ave. SE, Kerkhoven, MN  56252 (Owner)
REQUEST:    Variance request for the construction of a 208’x 101’8” total confinement hog finishing barn with concrete pit beneath, to be placed within the ½ mile required setback from neighboring residence and municipality.  Currently there are 790 Animal Units, expanding to 1,510 Animal Units.
LOCATION:    S ½ of Section 32, T-120, R-37, Pillsbury Township, Swift County, MN, except the following described property:  Starting at the NE corner of the S ½ of Section 32, thence S on and along the E line of Section 32, 715 feet to a point, thence in a W’ly direction parallel to the N line of Said S ½ of Section 32, 375 feet to a point, thence in a N’ly direction parallel with the E line of Section 32 to a point on the N line of the S ½ of Section 32, thence in an E’ly direction on and along said N line of the S ½ of Section 32, to the point or place of beginning.
