FUNERAL NOTICE
 
Dale Randy Aslakson, 60, of Hoff Township, Minn., died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris. 
Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2018, at West Zion Lutheran Church in rural Hancock.  Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. 
Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson. 
Dale Randy Aslakson was born November 23, 1957 to Maurice and Maureen (Engebretson) Aslakson at St. Mary’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He was baptized at West Zion Lutheran Church by Pastor Anderson on November 30, 1957.  He attended elementary school in Richfield for 3 years and then his family moved to Pope County to a farm near Hancock.  He attended Sunday School at West Zion Lutheran Church and was confirmed on May 12, 1973 by Pastor Syverson.  Dale graduated from Benson High School in June of 1976.
Dale passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.  He attained the age of 60 years, 3 months and 2 days.
He is survived by his children, Grant (Amanda) Aslakson of Robbinsdale and Kate Aslakson (Carter Cripe) of Robbinsdale; mother, Maureen Aslakson of rural Hancock; brother, Jeff (Karen) Aslakson of rural Hancock; and nieces and nephews.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Aslakson on July 6, 2014; and his grandparents.  Blessed be the memory of Dale Aslakson.
