FUNERAL NOTICE AND OBITUARY
 
Todd Jacob Gillitzer, Jr., “Jacob”, age 9, of Benson, Minn., died Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth. 
Visitation will be from 4–7 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson.  Visitation will continue from 9:30–10:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the church.  Interment will be in the Benson City Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home.  www.zniewskifuneralhome.com
 
 
Todd Jacob Gillitzer, Jr. was born May 3, 2008 in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Todd Jacob Gillitzer and Jahanna Leah Frentzel.  Jacob grew up in Benson and was a 4th grader at Northside Elementary.  He loved playing hockey, baseball, football, and video games.
 
Jacob is survived by his parents, Thomas Jon and Jahanna Leah Wrobleski and Todd Jacob Gillitzer (Kristen); siblings: Jackson Frentzel, Jordan Anderson, Jonathan Gillitzer, Jace Wrobleski, Eli Gillitzer, and Behryn Gillitzer; grandparents: David and Stephanie Frentzel, Kurt and Peggy Heimann, and Alan and Lori Wrobleski; great-grandparents: JaVonne Frentzel, Rayburn and Mary Lou Belcher, Doris Gillitzer, and Mary Lu Minchow; aunts: Cealig (Stephen) Rial, Lahren Frentzel, Taylor Shope, Lesley Frentzel, and Abby (Sam) Adams; uncles: Patrick (Stephanie) Barrett, Josh Frentzel, Josh Mueller, James Faulkner, and Terry Gillitzer, Joseph (Jessica) Wrobleski, Daniel (Jordan) Wrobleski; and many other relatives and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steven and Patricia Gillitzer, great-grandparents: Elmer and Deloris Ziegler, Herbert Gillitzer, Tom Frentzel, and Don Minchow; and cousin, Isaiah Adams.
