Linda Eleanor (Rice) Walsh, 75, formerly of Murdock, Minn., passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at St. Anthony Care Center.  Visitation was from 9:00-10:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Murdock.  Interment was in Spring Creek Cemetery of rural Murdock.
Linda Eleanor Rice was born September 7, 1942, in Kerkhoven Township, Minnesota, the daughter of Millard and Gladys (Ronholdt) Rice.  Linda grew up in rural Sunburg and attended Country School in District 66 until the sixth grade.  She then attended and graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1960.  Following high school, she moved to Minneapolis and worked for General Mills.  
April 24, 1965, Linda married Richard Walsh at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Murdock.  Their marriage was blessed with three children, Kristin, Jason, and Jeffery.  In 1967, Linda and Richard along with their first child, Kristin, moved back to rural Murdock and started farming.
Linda enjoyed playing cards, traveling, cooking, and baking - especially her lefse.  Linda’s kind generosity was also noticed for hosting many relatives, friends and anyone who stopped by and needed a place to stay.  She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Linda is survived by Richard Walsh of Murdock; children, Kristin Weston of St. Paul, Jason (Courtney) Walsh of Kerkhoven, and Jeffery Walsh of Murdock; grandchildren: Sydney, Alexandra and Jacob Walsh of Kerkhoven, Rhiannon and Maxwell Weston of St. Paul; siblings, Darlene Carstens of Clearwater, and Allan Rice of Murdock; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Bill Rice, Ann Netland, Marjorie Rice, Vernae Renville, Darrell Rice, and Roger Rice; nephews: Gary Netland, Mike Netland, Bob Renville, and Jeff Renville; niece, Jill Carstens; and many other family members and close friends.
Zniewski Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
