Saints fall to 9-14 with five-game loss to RTR
 
The second half of the 2017 regular-season has not gone as planned for the KMS volleyball team.  After starting out the season 7-5, the Saints fell to 2-9 in their last 11 matches with a 16-25, 25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 15-10 loss at Russell-Tyler-Ruthton last Tuesday night.
It was the only match of the week for the Saints, who only have the Underwood Tourney, Thursday (tomorrow) and the Section 5A Tourney left on the 2017 schedule.
The Saints dropped to 9-14 overall and finished the Camden North schedule with a 3-8 record after the loss to RTR.  It was only the second time this year KMS has gone five games.  The only other time was a 3-2 win over Lac qui Parle Valley.
Looking ahead to the Section 5A Tourney, KMS is currently seeded fourth in its five-team pod, but has a great chance to move into third place by the end of the season. 
If KMS remains fourth, it would host ACGC or Benson in a play-in game, Thursday, Oct. 26, but if it moves up to third, it would avoid the play-in game and play at second-seeded Kimball in the section opener.
