Autumn Nicole McLain of Willmar left this earthly life to begin her eternal life in heaven on Saturday September 30, 2017 at St. Cloud Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident.

Autumn was born on October 4, 1993, on Eglin, AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL to Renee Cool and Michael McLain. Autumn loved the warm sunshine of Florida and it matched her sunny personality. Autumn was baptized as a baby at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Walton Beach and later in a believer’s baptism at the Refuge Church in Willmar.

Autumn moved with her family to Willmar when she was two where she attended Mary Guetter’s daycare where she made lifelong friends. Autumn attended Willmar Public Schools graduating from Willmar High School in 2012.

Autumn’s first two loves were animals and dance. She attended horse camp and loved her pets especially her cat, Tanner. Autumn began dance at Colleen’s School of Dance when she was three years old and danced all through high school and was a captain on the Cardette Danceline as well as dancing competitively with Colleens where she found many friends and life-long role models.

She graduated from the Ridgewater College Cosmetology program and worked at both JC Penney’s and Fantastic Sam’s. Autumn loved all her “hair girls” with a passion. She loved to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

For the past five years Autumn worked as a Human Service Technician for Presbyterian Family Foundation and most recently the State of MN. She loved helping the clients that she worked with and they had a special place in her heart.

As beautiful as Autumn was on the outside, she was even more beautiful on the inside. She has a huge heart and loved her family and friends.

She was blessed to be also loved by her “bonus” parents Paul Cool and Angela McLain who loved her as their own.

Autumn is survived by her parents Renee and Paul Cool and Michael and Angela McLain, sisters Alexa, Madelynn, Morgan and Jordyn McLain, brother Cole Stephens-Cool, grandparents Gail McGrath, Roger Doughty, June and Andrew Riordan as well as aunts, uncles, many cousins and many very special friends who she loved like family.

She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Elnore Cool, her cat Tanner and her boyfriend Austin Ardoff.
