Tennis team falls to Monte, LQP-DB
The Benson-KMS girls tennis team ran into two of the top teams in the conference and the result was a pair of 6-1 losses to Montevideo and Lac qui Parle/Dawson-Boyd.
The Fighting Braves, who fell to 5-5 overall and 2-3 in the conference, lost a home match to Montevideo last Tuesday night, 6-1, and also fell by the same score at LQP/DB, Thursday.
Gracie Lenz, playing at second singles, was the only Benson player to win during both matches.  She currently leads the team with an 8-2 overall record.
Minnewaska Area currently leads the WCC with a perfect 6-0 mark, while LQP/DB is second at 5-1 and Montevideo close behind at 4-1.
This week, Benson-KMS is set to go on the road for three events.  The Fighting Braves are set to compete at....
