The Benson-KMS girls tennis team split a pair of matches to open up the conference schedule last week.
Benson-KMS shut out MACCRAY to open up last week’s action last Tuesday night and then hosted Minnewaska Area, Thursday, with the Lakers pulling out a 5-2 decision.
Benson-KMS, now 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference, has two more matches this week, beginning with a home match against Morris Area, Tuesday (yesterday) and continuing with a match at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Thursday (tomorrow).
Through the early portion of the schedule, Susan Knutson, Stacy Johnson, Anna Samuelson, and Gracie Lenz all lead the Fighting Braves with 4-2 record.
Benson-KMS 7, MACCRAY 0
The Fighting Braves improved to 3-2 overall with a 7-0 sweep at MACCRAY last Tuesday night.
