ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
CITY OF BENSON
BENSON PUBLIC WORKS
MOTOR GRADER
 
    Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the CITY OF BENSON, MN for the purchase of one motor grader. Bids will be received at Benson City Hall, 1410 Kansas Ave, Benson, MN until 10:00 AM on June 29, 2017.  Bids received after this time will be returned unopened.  Bids will be opened and read at City Hall  and be considered by the Benson City Council at their regular meeting on July 10, 2017 at 5:30 PM.
The Bidding specifications are on file and available for inspection at Benson City Hall, 1410 Kansas Avenue, Benson, MN  56215.
The Benson Public Works Department has developed a minimum set of specifications that must be followed in order to accurately evaluate each bid.  Alternatives may be bid if they meet or exceed the minimum set forth in the specifications.  If exceptions are taken they must be clearly marked and explained on a separate page entitled “Exceptions to Specifications”.  Bids taking total exception will be rejected.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked “Bid for Public Works Motor Grader”.  The City Council reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of the Bids and to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and further, reserves the right to make such award as it may deem in the best interest of the City.
