Tennis team tops MACCRAY, 6-1

The Benson boys tennis team earned its second win of the season last week with a 6-1 rout of MACCRAY, Friday night on the local courts.
Three days earlier, the Braves lost a match to Mora, 4-1, that was shortened due to weather.  Benson was also supposed to play NLS the same day, but that match was postponed to Monday, May 8.
The match with MACCRAY was supposed to take place, Thursday, but was pushed back a day due to weather.  That meant Benson had to play two matches, Friday.  
After playing MACCRAY, the Braves hosted a strong Litchfield team and the Dragons handed Benson a 7-0 loss.
Benson, now 2-8 overall and 1-2 in the WCC, have four matches scheduled this week beginning with a home match against Minnewaska Area, Monday, and continuing with a match at St. John’s Prep, Tuesday, a match at home against YME, Thursday, and the WCC Individual Tourney, Saturday at Montevideo....
