Braves fall to Melrose Area, 11-4

The Benson baseball team fell to 0-3 overall with an 11-4 loss to Melrose last Tuesday night in Benson.  The Braves opened up the season with a pair of losses to KMS and Montevideo the first week of the season.
The Braves and Dutchmen were tied at 3-3 through two innings before Melrose scored five unearned runs in the third to put the game away.
This week, Benson is set to host Morris Area for a doubleheader, Tuesday, April 18 before going on the road to Sauk Centre, Friday, April 21....
