The Benson boys basketball team fell to Morris Area-CA in a key WCC game, Friday night in Benson, 65-49.  

The Braves led early 14-9, but Morris Area-CA came back to claim a 35-21 lead by halftime and then outscored the Braves 30-28 in the second half.

Benson, which fell to 1-4 in the conference and 2-8 overall, also had a game at Montevideo scheduled for last Tuesday night, but that game was postponed due to weather and will be made up Tuesday, Jan. 31.

This week, the Braves were set to host KMS, Monday, before going on the road to face the WCC leading Melrose Dutchmen, Thursday.  After that, Benson comes home to host Sauk Centre and Hancock....
