KMS wrestlers top Kimball; 4th at Redwood River Riot

While other area teams took a few days off over the weekend because of the blizzard that hit the state, the KMS wrestling team competed at the 20-team Redwood River Riot Wrestling Tournament, Friday and Saturday.
KMS, which earned runner-up finishes by Dylan Rudningen, Derek Krieger, and Brandin Dahl, placed fourth of 20 teams at the Redwood Valley Tourney with 155 points, just one point away from third.  Litchfield had 201.5 points to win the team title.
Earlier in the week, the Saints routed Kimball Area in a home match, Thursday, 53-18, in its only dual match of the season.
This week, KMS has a tough triangular scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20, with Litchfield and Willmar.  After that, the Saints have two weeks off to prepare for the BBE Tourney, Jan. 6....
