MICHAEL R. FENNELL

Michael Robert Fennell, age 57, of Benson, died Sunday, December 18, 2016. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
 
Michael Robert Fennell was born on May 28, 1959 in Owatonna, Minnesota, the son of Robert and Mary (Klucas) Fennell.  He was baptized on June 14, 1959 by Father Jewison at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owatonna.  Mike was confirmed on June 8, 1969 by Bishop Schladweiler at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Clontarf.  He graduated from Clontarf Grade School and Benson High School and then attended Alexandria Technical College.
 
Mike lived in Benson and worked at Custom Roto-Mold.  Among the many things he enjoyed were hiking at Glacial Lakes State Park, canoeing, camping, bon fires, woodworking, carpentry, Mountain Dew and Snickers.  Mike passed away December 18, 2016.  He attained the age of 57 years, 6 months and 20 days.
 
Mike is survived by his father, Robert Fennell of Benson; children: Kristy Fennell (Gabe Nelson) of Little Falls, Joe Fennell, Addison Fennell, and Jacob Fennell, all of Benson; two grandchildren, Kailie and Samuel Nelson; and siblings: Steve (Rhonda) Fennell of Benson, David (Mary) Fennell of Fergus Falls, Mark (Annette) Fennell of Benson, and Angi Ricker of Benson.
 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Klucas) Fennell; and grandparents: Joseph and Eleanor Fennell, and Arthur and Florence Klucas.
