KMS girls win first two games

The KMS girls basketball team opened up the season with two dominating wins over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley (73-47)  Tuesday, Nov. 29 and Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (66-50), Friday, Dec. 2.
Sam Gjerde had 32 points and Katie Krieger added 20 during the win over CGB, while Gjerde had 21 points and Hanne Tebben added 13 during the victory against BLHS.
The Saints do not have any games scheduled this week due to the KMS High School Band’s trip to Pearl Harbor so the next game for KMS isn’t scheduled until Thursday, Dec. 15 at home versus Dawson-Boyd, which beat RCW in its conference opener, 62-52....
