   Eunice Ann Quick, 96, of Benson, MN formerly of Nevis, MN was called to her eternal resting place on October 4, 2016 at the Gabriel House Assisted Living Home in Murdock, MN.
   Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM at the Nevis Church of Christ in Nevis, MN.  Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5 until 7 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Nevis, MN.  Visitation will also be held for 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Co-Officiants will be Pastor Paul Bowles and Pastor Barry Klein.  Interment will be held at the Lakeview Cemetery in Nevis, MN.  Friends may leave online condolences at ceasefuneralhome.com.   Arrangements are being handled by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Nevis, MN.
   Eunice Ann Blade was born on February 7, 1920 in Mpls, MN the daughter of Henry and Katherine Mae (Barret) Blade.  She grew up and attended school in Bloomington, MN.  As a teenager she moved with her family to Hackensack, MN, where she worked in the area.  She met a gentleman by the name of Clifford J. Quick at a local dance.  They were united in marriage on February 6, 1938 in Hackensack, MN.  They later moved to Seattle where they both assisted with the war effort by working in the Boeing Aircraft manufacturing facility.  Clifford later enlisted into the US Army and Eunice resided in Akeley, MN. They owned and operated a restaurant in Nevis, MN.  Eunice eventually began working as an aide for the Nevis ECFE in the Nevis Schools.  She retired in 1998.   
   She was a longtime active member of the Nevis Church of Christ.  She was also active in the local Nevis Study Club.  She loved reading, playing cards, carving, decorative painting and sewing baby blankets for her grandchildren and Easter dresses for her granddaughters. Clifford passed away in 1995 and in 1998 Eunice moved from Nevis to Benson, MN to be near her daughter.   She enjoyed her grandchildren and making new friendships while attending the Baptist church in Benson.  She loved staying busy and being involved with a local quilting group.
   She is survived by her daughter – Jodee (Charles) Erickson of Benson, MN; Grandchildren – Jeff Case, Susan (Rod) Kiehl, Christopher Hemmah, Christina (Thomas) Ahrndt, Robert (Crystal) Erickson; great grandchildren – Tracey Kiehl, Shawn Kiehl, Andrew (Christine) Hemmah, Kali (Ryan) Unke, Kelsi (Thomas) Lye, Jordon Ahrndt, Cody Erickson, Ella Erickson and her great great grandchildren - Vanessa, Benjamin, Alyssa, Leif and Bennett.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband – Clifford Quick, sister – Irma Beaumont, daughter – Karen Hemmah, grandson – Michael Hemmah and great grandson – Lucas Halverson.
