Clara Mae (Fennell) Brown, 79, of Cambridge, formerly of Danvers, MN passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Andover.
She was born March 11, 1937 in Marysland Township, MN to Edmund and Margaret (Peerboom) Fennell.  Clara grew up on a farm south of Danvers, MN until 1951 when the family moved into Danvers. She was baptized and had First Communion on July 9, 1944, she also was confirmed at Church of The Visitation at Danvers.  She attended Danvers public school through 8th grade and later graduated from Benson High School.  When Clara was in high school, her dad would just holler for her from the Mobil Station and she would run to help pump gas.
On November 17, 1975 she married James Brown.  They would live in Ramsey, Cedar, Rush City and Cambridge until 2004, when they moved to Alabama.  In January 2016 they returned to Cambridge.
While she raised seven children, she also worked at Carlson Company in accounting, Murphy’s Drug Store, in manufacturing and at a dental lab.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, doing word puzzles, and playing Yahtzee, which she usually won.
She was preceded in death by her parents, children Timothy Klang, Sandra Ryhn, brother Thomas Fennell, sister Elizabeth Hughes.  Clara is survived by her husband James of Cambridge, children Kevin Klang, Terri LaCrosse both of Cambridge, Troy Klang, Tracy (Jeffrey) Janssen all of Andover, Dawn (Ron) Peterson of Cambridge, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Catherine Zinda of Willmar, Margaret “Peggy” Fennell of Danvers, sister-in-law Lois Fennell of Danvers, as well as many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass was will be held at 11AM, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Cambridge, with  interment in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Cambridge. Online condolences at:  www.carlsonlillemoen.com
