Cherished mother and grandmother, Donna J. Janke, 86, passed  away  May 23, 2016 in Halstead, Kansas. She was separated by death from her husband of 67 years, Ronald J. Janke (d. April 20th, 2016), for only a month.
Donna was born  May 15, 1930 in nearby Glenwood. She was a longtime resident of Benson, where Ronald ran a shoe store and she raised their four children. Having lived a while in the Twin Cities metro, she retired to Glenwood before ultimately relocating to Kansas to be near her eldest daughter.
She was preceded in death by her children, Barry and Pamela, and grandson Casey. She is survived by her brother, Harris Pederson of Glenwood; her daughter and son, Trisha (Gene) Sulier and Bruce (Cynthia) Janke, both of Halstead, Kansas; her daughter-in-law Judy Janke of Blaine; and her eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, to whom she gave endless love and affection.
