Montevideo 6, Benson 1
The Braves fell 6-1 to one of the conference favorites last Tuesday night in Benson as Montevideo swept the four singles’ matches, giving up just four total games.
The match had originally been scheduled for last Monday, but was moved to Tuesday due to rain and cold.  Tuesday’s temperatures were still in the low to mid-40s.
Dylan McNeill and Kevin Johnson earned the lone point for Benson with a 6-4, 6-4 win at first doubles, while Kyle Ruppert and Josh Clark almost pulled out another point before falling in three sets at second doubles, 6-2, 1-6, 7-6.
In the other five matches, Benson did not win more than three games in any match, including two matches where the Braves did not win a game.
