Gymnasts off to great start

The Benson-KMS-Montevideo gymnastics team is off to a great start this season.  The team  has won its first four meets, including a 135.475-129.075 victory over Maple Lake, Friday, Dec. 18, in which the team scored a team total that hasn’t been topped in almost nine years.
The school team scoring record for the Benson-KMS gymnastics team is a 141.375 team total set Feb. 19, 2005 by a team that included Allison Johnson, Kristi Steinhaus, Carrie Hanson, Brittany Johnson, Sarah Hengel, and Jessica Ascheman.  Karen Ascheman was the coach.
