Cecilia “Cece” Chevalier Larson, age 50 of Freeport, formerly of Benson, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her home.   A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 5th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood.  Interment was in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Benson.  Arrangements are with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.

Cecilia “Cece” Chevalier-Larson, 50, of Freeport, formerly of Benson, died unexpectedly  Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her home.   
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m.  Saturday, September 5 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glenwood.  Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment was at the  St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Benson.  
Cecilia “Cece” Carole Chevalier, the daughter of Robert and Carole (Molde) Chevalier was born November 27, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She grew up in Benson and attended St. Francis Catholic School.  Cece attended school in Benson and graduated from Benson High School in 1983.  She went on to further her education at St. Benedicts College in St. Joseph, Minnesota graduating with a degree in education.  After college, Cece taught in Hancock and St. Cloud.  Most recently she had a self-employed cleaning business and was living in Freeport, Minnesota.
Cece was an avid animal lover.  She enjoyed traveling, the outdoors and exercising.  She will be remembered for being a very kind person with her striking blue eyes and warm smile.  She loved her family and her four children were the highlight of her life.  Cece passed away September 1, 2015 at her home in Freeport.
She is survived by her mother, Carole Chevalier of Glenwood; children: Christopher Steffl of Glenwood, Alex, Ben and Caitlin Larson all of Starbuck;  sisters, Carrie (Patrick) Chevalier Mosher of Minnetonka, Connie Chevalier of Anchorage, Alaska and Catherine Chevalier Lein of Benson; brother, Mike (Katherine) Chevalier of Glenwood; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Cece is preceded in death by her father, Robert Chevalier.
Arrangements were with the Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood.
