Boyd Ernest Jaeger, 90, of Benson, Minnesota died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Swift County Benson Hospital.  
Funeral services were 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson.  Visitation was held Tuesday, July 7, 2015, from 5-8 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church and for one hour prior to the service.  
Interment was in the Benson City Cemetery.
Boyd Ernest Jaeger was born January 30, 1925 to Ernest and Josephine (Hippe) Jaeger in Benson.  He was baptized at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  He grew up in Cashel Township and attended rural country school and Benson Public School.  
January 29, 1950, Boyd was united in marriage to Lucille A. Fuhrman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Benson by Rev. H.S. Nasheim.  This union was blessed with three children, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Together they were able to share in more than 58 years of marriage.
After marriage, they moved into Benson.  Boyd was a self-employed trucker his entire life.  He hauled livestock to south Saint Paul and grain “Up North” in Minnesota for many farmers.  He trucked into his early 80’s.  
Among the things that he enjoyed were traveling to his grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting events and activities, “flipping quarters”, “going for a drive”, and visiting with his customers.  Boyd was a family man and his family always came first.  He was called from this life  Saturday, July 4, 2015.  He attained the age of 90 years, five months and four days.
Boyd is survived by his children: Dianne (Bill) McGeary of Benson, Bruce (Paulette) Jaeger of Benson, Bradley (Karen) Jaeger of Marshall; grandchildren: Sarah (Jeff) McGeary-DeHann, Daniel (Caryn) McGeary, Jeremiah Jaeger, Nicolette (James) Servoss, Jonathan (Kari) Jaeger, and Aimee (Burt) Yardley; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Brennden, Brady DeHaan, Libby, Mya, Mason McGeary, Parker and Brooke Servoss, Lucy and Payton Yardley, and Andrew Jaeger; brother, Donald Jaeger of Benson; sisters-in-law, Irene Fuhrman of Morris and Avis Fuhrman of Mossy Rock, WA; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Jaeger, April 12, 2008; parents, Ernest and Josephine; and brother, Kenneth Jaeger.
