Lakers fall to 6-3 with loss to Regal

The Norway Lake-Sunburg Lakers were shut out for the first time this season during a 10-0 loss to Regal, Sunday afternoon in Sunburg.
The loss dropped the Lakers record to 6-3 overall and 5-3 in the County Line League with two games to play.
Norway Lake-Sunburg has the Fourth of July week off before closing out its regular-season schedule against NLS, Saturday, July 11, and at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 12, at home against Atwater.

The Lakers topped Starbuck for the second time this season with an 11-4 victory at Starbuck, Friday, June 19.
Chris Braaten and Jonah Johnson combined for the win on the mound, while Johnson led the offense with four hits and three runs scored.
Norway Lake-Sunburg trailed 1-0 after one inning and 4-2 through four before scoring nine runs over the final five innings to pull out the win.
Braaten started on the mound, but left after three innings with his team trailing 4-2.  Johnson came in to pitch six innings of scoreless relief to earn the win, giving up just four hits and one walk while striking out five.
