Shirley Anne Heinecke, 77, Denver, formerly of Benson

Shirley Anne Heinecke, 77, died Monday, March 9, 2015, in Denver, Colorado.  
Shirley was born  April 30, 1937, in Wisner, Nebraska, to Henry and Hulda (Baer) Heinecke as the fifth of six children.
In 1950, the Heinecke family moved to a farm in Cashel Township, Swift County, Minnesota.  
In 1954, Shirley graduated from Benson High School, Benson, Minnesota.  During the 1960’s and 1970’s in Benson, Shirley was a devoted mother of three to Daniel, Jerome and Jacqulynn Larson.   She loved watching her children play sports and participate in many other activities.  
She worked in Benson banking for many years until she moved in 1980 to the Denver, Colorado area.  She continued working in banking until her retirement in 2004.  
She enjoyed living in the West within sight of and a short drive into the Rocky Mountains.  Shirley loved visiting with the families of her brothers, sisters and her 21 nieces and nephews.  She was an avid reader, miniature owl collector and dog lover.  
Shirley is survived by her children; son and daughter-in-law: Jerry (Lorene) Larson of Oahu, HI and their son: Zachary Larson of Keesler AFB, MS; son and daughter-in-law:  Dan (Laura) Larson of Elizabeth, CO and their daughters: Brynn Larson of Phoenix, AZ, and Brooke Larson of Madrid, Spain; daughter:  Jacquie Larson of Glenwood; sister:  Magdalene Doescher of Sioux Falls, SD; and her brother and sister-in-law:  Henry (Joyce) Heinecke, Jr. of Tracy, CA; brother-in-law: James Scadden of Parker, CO; two sisters-in-law:  Jane (Dave) Heinecke of Superior, WI, and Barb (Virgil) Heinecke of Independence, MO.
Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved parents, sister: Carolyn (James) Scadden; brothers: Dave Heinecke and Virgil Heinecke; and brother-in-law:  Richard Doescher.  
The delights of her life were laughing with her family and seeing her three grandchildren grow up.
