NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS - Sealed proposals will be received until 10:00 AM on March 30 2015, at the Swift County Highway Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, PO Box 241, Benson, MN 56215.  Sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read at 10:00 AM at the Swift County Highway Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, Benson, MN 56215 for the construction project listed below:
Project Number:  S.A.P. 076-620-022
Location:  On Swift CSAH 20 – From US TH 59 to 1725.66’ West of County Road 3.
Type of work:  Mill & Bituminous Overlay – with Aggregate Shouldering
Major Items:
    • Mill Bituminous Surface (2”)  –  119,080 Sq Yds
    • Type SP 12.5 Bituminous Wear Mixture (2,B)  –  20,833 Ton
Project Net Length:  44,560.82’  (8.440 Miles)  
  Proposal with specifications may be examined and obtained at the office of the Swift County Engineer at the Swift County Highway Department Administration Building, 1635 Hoban Avenue, Benson, MN 56215.

  Bids must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Treasurer of Swift County, or a corporate surety bond made in favor of Swift County equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects.
