More Bruns’ hattricks and more wins for Storm

The MBA boys hockey team raised its record to 5-1 with a pair of big wins last week over Willmar (9-3) and Windom Area (5-2).  Zach Bruns had two more hattricks during the two games, giving the Morris junior four-straight games of three goals.

The Storm, who have scored 35 goals over their last five games, were set to skate at River Lakes, Tuesday (yesterday) before coming home to Benson to host Prairie Centre, Thursday (tomorrow) and Luverne, Friday.

Zach Bruns had his third-straight hattrick and six different MBA skaters scored at least one goal as the Storm improved to 4-1 with a 9-3 victory at Willmar last Tuesday night.

MBA trailed early 2-1 as Brady Loge scored for the Storm only 1:48 into the game, but Willmar tallied two goals over the first 5:21 for an early lead...
