Legion improves to 8-0 with win over Morris

The Benson Express just keeps rolling along.

The Benson Legion team, otherwise known as the Benson Express, improved to 8-0 this summer with two more wins last week at Morris last Monday (8-6) and at Hancock, Thursday (6-1).

The Legion team has given up just 27 runs this year in eight games while scoring 66 itself.  Coach of the team is Mark Grussing.

The only games left on the schedule is a home game, Thursday (tomorrow) at 7 p.m. versus Madison, and a game at Granite Falls, Monday, July 12.  However, the game Thursday against Madison was canceled due to Madison needing to reschedule a league game...
