Lady Storm lose pair of close games

The MBA Lady Storm lost three games last week, including a 5-2 loss to Windom Area, Saturday in Benson. Earlier in the week, MBA fell to Prairie Centre (6-4) and Princeton (9-2).
The Lady Storm, now 0-7-1 overall, have two road games set for this week beginning with a game at Detroit Lakes, Tuesday (yesterday) and a game at St. Peter, Friday.
Prairie Centre 6, MBA 4
The Lady Storm lost a close game against Prairie Centre last Tuesday night in Morris. MBA held leads of 1-0, 3-2, and 4-3, but Prairie Centre scored the final three goals of the game to rally for the 6-4 win.
Taryn Picht had two goals for the Lady Storm, including the first one only 31 seconds into the game. Prairie Centre would score the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead after one period.
The Lady Storm scored the only two goals of the second period to go up 3-2. Picht scored her second goal at the 6:26 mark, and Molly Jones scored with 1:05 left in the second period on a MBA powerplay. Assisting on the Jones’ goal was Karlie Bruns...
