KMS softball team edges Benson
The Benson softball team had four games last week during one of the busiest weeks of the season for the Braves, earning its third win of the season in the process. The Braves fell to Montevideo in a close game last Monday night, 3-0, but came back the next night to edge Sauk Centre, 13-12.
Montevideo and Benson met up again Thursday, and this time, the two teams combined for 27 runs as Montevideo beat the Braves for the second time in the week, 15-12. The week came to an end with a 7-1 non-conference loss to KMS, Friday in Benson.
The Braves, 3-11 overall and 2-10 in the WCC, have three more regular-season game left, including home games with Sauk Centre, Monday, ACGC, Tuesday, and NLS, Thursday....
