KMS football team falls to state-ranked Kimball Area
The KMS football team fell to 1-5 overall with a 50-6 loss at Kimball Area, Friday night. The Saints trailed just 8-6 after one quarter, but the Cubs scored the final 42 points of the game to improve to 6-0 for the season.
Kimball and BOLD are currently tied for first in the sub-district with 6-0 records, followed by Upsala-Swanville Area (5-1), BBE (4-2), Browerville-EV (3-3), Benson and ACGC (both 2-4), KMS and Maple Lake (both 1-5), and LPGE (0-6).
The Saints are currently the fifth seed in Section 4A, but have a chance to move up to fourth if they can beat ACGC this Friday at 7 p.m. in Murdock, and at LPGE to close out the regular-season, Wednesday, Oct. 20. See Speaking of Sports for more playoff scenarios...
