KMS ends season with victory over Prinsburg
The KMS volleyball team swept Prinsburg CMCS in the season finale Friday, Nov. 20 at Prinsburg, 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.The win pushed the Saints’ final record to 7-3 overall and in the Camden North, giving KMS the unofficial conference title.
It was the third-straight winning season for the Saints, who previously won the Camden North title in 2015 when the team went 20-10 overall. MACCRAY, which fell to KMS in a five-game thriller, Nov. 2, was second in the Camden North with a 4-3 record followed by Prinsburg and Lac qui Parle (both 2-7), Dawson-Boyd (1-10), and RCW (0-11).
In the Camden South, Minneota won the title with a perfect 11-0 league mark, followed by RTR (11-2), Canby and Tracy Area (9-3), YME (4-10), and Lakeview (3-4). Key to the Saints winning the conference title was a 3-1 win over Canby in the second match of the season...
