KMS baseball team falls to New York Mills and Ashby to end 19-2 season

The KMS baseball team fell a few wins short of advancing to the State Baseball Tournament.  The Saints had opened up the Section 6A Baseball Tournament with a bye and two wins, but KMS fell to New York Mills in the upper-bracket finals last Tuesday night, 2-1, and then lost in the second-third place game, Thursday at NYM to Ashby, 12-2.

Ashby fell to New York Mills later Thursday in the Section 6A title game.

KMS finished the 2021 season with a 19-2 overall record, which included a 10-0 mark in the Camden Conference to win the title.  Seniors lost to graduation from this year’s team are Hunter Wilts, Brody Forsell, Brad Wilke, Isaac Call, and Devon Swanson...
