KMS baseball team clinches Camden crown
The KMS baseball team clinched the Camden Conference title with a pair of conference wins over Minneota (5-1) and RTR (11-1) last week. The Saints also shut out Hancock to open up last week’s action, 7-0, giving KMS a 16-0 overall record heading into the final week of the regular-season.
The Saints, 10-0 in the Camden Conference, were set to host BBE, Tuesday (yesterday) and MACCRAY, Thursday (tomorrow).
The Section 6A Tourney is also coming up and the Saints have a chance for a top seed and a first-round bye. KMS and Upsala-Swanville Area are battling for the top seed in the Saints’ half of the section.
The opening round is set for 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 1 at the higher-team’s site and the second round is set for Thursday, June 3 at Ortonville or Clinton.
