Pearl Mae Skjefstad (Schluter), 86, passed away peacefully July 19, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was born March 12, 1938 in Starbuck, Minnesota and was the third of seven children. She graduated from Benson High school in the class of 1956.
Pearl met her late husband, Ray Skjefstad, and they moved to Blaine, Minnesota where they lived and were married for nearly 40 years. Pearl worked at the Ammunition plant in Arden Hills and after that held a variety of positions over the years.
Pearl loved to talk to people and she cherished the time with her family and friends. In the summertime, Ray and Pearl spent a great deal of time at their cabin on  Lake Sullivan near Hillman, MN. She was very proud of her three grandchildren and she had fun attending many of their sporting, dance and school events over the years. Pearl was a Twins and Vikings fan and cheered them on whenever they were on TV.
Pearl is preceded in death by her husband Ray Skjefstad, parents Herman and Hazel Schluter, siblings: Mary Piche and Robert Schluter. She is survived by daughter; Kim (Chris) Ostendorf; grandchildren: Kyle, Alyssa and Ava Ostendorf; siblings: Betty Rosten, Diane Wetherell, George Schluter and David Schluter.
A funeral service was held previously held July 30.
