County weighs highway needs and cost priorities

With limited funds to make very costly road improvements, where should the Swift County Highway Department focus its efforts? 
Should county gravel roads get the primary attention, or should it be bituminous roads? Should the highway department do what it can for both never really adequately addressing either needs?
That conversation started at the Swift County Board of Commissioner’s July 7 but will be continued in greater detail at its July 21 meeting.
