Carol Jane Thompson, 77, of DeGraff, Minnesota, died  Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2024, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson, and will continue Monday, June 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery in DeGraff.
Carol Jane (Wrobleski) Thompson was born  July 18, 1946 in Danvers, the daughter of Frank and Loretta (Kidrowski) Wrobleski. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. She grew up in Benson and attended Benson Senior High School.
December 30, 1978, Carol was united in marriage to Arden Thorvald Thompson at the Swift County Courthouse. Carol and Arden were blessed with twin sons, Jason and Jeff, and made their home in DeGraff for more than 40 years.
While she worked many jobs throughout her life, Carol’s biggest passion was her family. She lived her life to serve those she loved. Carol was the first to volunteer her services by making mac salad for family gatherings, helping paint rooms and houses, or just stopping by to visit when someone needed a friend. She was a member of the St. Bridget’s Altar and Rosary.
    Carol is survived by her sons Jeffrey of DeGraff, and Jason (Sarah Poole) of Monticello; three grandchildren: Caleb, Kaitlyn, and Gabriel Thompson; siblings: Jerome (Ruby) Wrobleski, Donald Wrobleski, Mick (Marlene) Wrobleski, Larry Wrobleski, and Rick (Roxanne) Wrobleski, all of Benson, as well as several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.      
Carol was preceded in death by her husband Arden Thompson; her parents Frank and Loretta Wrobleski; brothers: Frank Wrobleski Jr., Kenny Wrobleski, and James Wrobleski; sisters: Marie Lee, Shirley Staton, and Lynette Hippen; infant brothers Eugene Wrobleski and Darcy Wrobleski; brother-in-law Ray Staton, sister-in-law Janet Wrobleski, niece Kayla Wrobleski; nephew Darcy Wrobleski; father and mother-in-law Thorvald and Grace Thompson; brother-in-law Roger Thompson; nephew Lance Thompson, and a niece Paige Hjelle.
