Benson will proceed with annexing industrial park

Back in the spring of 2020, the City of Benson purchased 127 acres of land just south of its city limits and east of Minnesota Highway 29 south. It included 110 acres of tillable land and 17 acres of woods. It was land designated as the city’s South Industrial Park and earmarked for future economic development efforts.
