To be the Braves, or not to be?

Does Benson High School drop the Braves name and logo to comply with a new state law?

Does it first seek approval from the state’s 11 Native American tribes and the Tribal Nation’s Education to keep the Braves name and the logo?

Or does it wait to see what further guidance comes from the state and meanwhile see what other districts with names associated with Minnesota’s Native American history and culture do?
