Helms and Duncan advance to Section 3A Individual semifinals

Only two players stayed alive after the first two rounds of the Section 3A Individual Tennis Tournament, Thursday at Sioux Falls, SD.

The Fighting Braves had four entries in the Section 3A Tourney with Lily Miller and Milgo Abdi playing singles, and Hannah Helms-Elise Duncan, and Eleanor Habben-Bella Quisberg competing in doubles.

Miller and Abdi both fell in the opening round, while Habben and Quisberg won their first match before losing to the top seed in the quarterfinals, and Helms and Duncan won both of their matches to advance to this week’s “Final Four” at Gustavus Adolphus, Tuesday (yesterday)...
