Hedman and Petersons set to lead Benson boys

The Benson boys basketball team had a disappointing end to last year’s season, losing their last three games to finish 15-12 overall.  It was the first winning season for the Benson boys basketball program since 2011-12 when the team finished 18-10.

However, the Braves had hoped to go further in the playoffs.  Benson earned a first-round playoff game at home against Paynesville, but came out on the losing end of a 73-63 decision.

Gone from last year’s team, which was 7-7 in the WCC, are Will Enderson and Jacob Wolter.  Enderson reached 1,000 career points late last year and at least two other Benson olayers could hit that milestone for the Braves this season...
