Girls tennis team to play for third place in section meet after falling to Osakis, 6-1

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team has one more match left this season after losing at top-seeded Osakis in the Section 6A semifinals last week, 6-1. 

The Fighting Braves have a chance to finish above .500 this season when they were set to face Morris Area/West Central Area in the Section 6A third-place match, Tuesday (yesterday) at Morris.  This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season with Morris Area winning the first two matches, 4-3.

Benson-KMS had opened up the Section 6A Tourney with a 7-0 win at home over MACCRAY.  The Fighting Braves were initially seeded fifth in the 8-team section field, but with Montevideo having to end its season due to COVID-19, Benson-KMS moved up to the fourth seed and hosted the fifth-seeded Wolverines instead...
