Girls tennis team has match with Montevideo postponed

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team continues to battle weather early this season.  Instead of having as many as nine matches at this point in the season, the Fighting Braves have officially played three.

Benson-KMS, which is 1-2 overall, had a match Aug. 26 with BBE postponed to a later date after playing about half the match.  And, one day later, the Long Prairie-GE quadrangular was postponed due to rain to a date yet to be determined.

Rain did it again Thursday as a home match with Montevideo was postponed to Friday, Sept. 10 at 3:30 p.m. due to a football game later that nigh.

Also on tap this week are road matches at Lac qui Parle/Dawson-Boyd, Tuesday (yesterday) and at Yellow Medicine East, Thursday (tomorrow)...
