Girls tennis team 4-3 after opening week

The Benson-KMS girls tennis team had a busy first week, going 4-3 overall with triangulars at home, NLS, and Long Prairie-GE. The Fighting Braves had opened up the season with two wins at the Benson triangular last Monday in matches that were recapped in last week’s paper.
Benson-KMS then played at NLS last Tuesday, but a triangular turned into a dual match with the Wildcats when Pipestone didn’t drive up north due to rain. The Wildcats won that match, 6-1. Two days later, Benson-KMS hosted a triangular with Morris Area-WCA and Annandale and the Fighting Braves edged the Tigers (4-3), but also fell to Annandale (6-1).
The week came to an end with a triangular at LPGE where Benson-KMS shut out the host team (7-0), but lost the other match to a strong Osakis team (6-1)...
